Airthings Software Summer Internship 2023

Airthings is a fast-growing tech company and we would like you to join our team of summer interns for the summer of 2023. Our paid summer internships will give you useful, hands-on experience in your field of study. As a well established, fast-growing company we are always interested in new ideas. Previous summer students have made apps and features that are in use today. With us everyone is an important contributor and you get responsibilities and have an impact on the business.

During the summer we will have a team of interns working on a project together. The project will match your interests whilst also creating value for us as a company. We provide excellent opportunities to use what you have learnt in your studies and put it into practice. Our internships are fun and also look great on your CV! In previous years, our interns have created web applications; displaying sensor data, creating a tool for our partners to plan device setup with customers, radonmap.com, mobile app for registering business devices to mention some. You will get to work closely with our team of developers. During the summer we arrange weekly social activities where you can get to know summer interns from other departments better as well as our full time employees.

We are looking for interns to work within backend and/or frontend development. The main technologies you will be working with are Kotlin, AWS and/or Typescript.

Requirements

• Finished a minimum of 3 years of higher education by the summer of 2023.
• Are able to live in Oslo during the summer.
• We are an English speaking company, so fluency is a requirement!
• Experience with at least one of Java, Kotlin, Typescript, Javascript or similar.

Info

The internship is fully paid and lasts from mid-June to mid-August. We encourage you to take a week of vacation during the internship.

We have 140 employees and counting, including scientists, engineers, developers and visionaries. At our headquarters, we develop everything from hardware and firmware to mobile apps, cloud services and a dashboard where we visualize user data. Recently won a TIME Magazine best invention award, as well as innovation awards from both IFA and CES in the Smart Home category.
