Performance Analysis Intern

We are looking for hardworking, creative people for our intern positions who have an interest in graphics processors, improving infrastructure, prototyping, programming, verification and alike - our interns are part of crafting the next generation of Arm technology!

In 2006 Arm acquired Falanx, a small Norwegian start-up developing Graphics Processing Units. The team now counts 200 employees from more than 30 different nationalities. We are based in Trondheim, the beautiful technological capitol of Norway. Here the team is combining hiking, skiing, and trips on the fjord with developing Mali, the worlds most shipped GPU in the world.

The Role
An intern within the performance analysis team will work with a vast array of technology such as:

  • Graphics processors
  • Validate and verify, read and write specifications, analyze ideas, simulate, check functions, propose solutions, program
  • Content and performance analysis of benchmarks and games and demo/benchmark creation
  • Enhance internal infrastructure (Linux/Python/Arm Platforms (CPU + GPU) while working with software and hardware processes and workflows

Job Requirements
In order to be considered, you will be studying Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant subject. Other degree types may be considered with relevant experience.

Skills and experience that we look for

  • A keen interest in processors and digital systems
  • Understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts
  • Excellent attention to detail
