What you'll be working on
Our summer internship program is built around teamwork. Interns typically work in groups of 2-3 students, tackling projects that explore new technologies, product ideas, or integrations with existing Gintel platforms.
You will:
- Work closely with experienced developers and domain experts
- Explore emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to real software solutions and prototypes
- Experience agile development with weekly sprints and demos
- Present results and ideas in an informal and supportive environment
We believe internships should be hands-on, collaborative, and genuinely useful, both for you and for us.
WorkationTRD
Gintel is a proud participant in WorkationTRD, Trondheim's summer internship community.
As a Gintel intern, you'll be invited to a wide range of social activities together with interns from more than 25 technology companies in Trondheim. Previous activities have included bouldering, escape rooms, go-karting, tastings, outdoor events, and much more, all free of charge.
It's a great opportunity to build your network, meet new friends, and experience Trondheim during the summer.

Qualifications
- Interest in software development
- Basic programming skills
- Master's students at any stage of their studies are welcome to apply
- Students within Computer Science, Telematics, Communication Technology, or related fields are particularly encouraged to apply
